Principal's Message
Welcome Back, Sheehy Elementary Families!
Greetings, Sheehy Elementary community!
As your Principal, it fills me with immense pride and excitement to welcome you back for another fantastic school year. Serving as your principal for a second year at Sheehy Elementary is truly an honor, and I'm eager to continue building on the incredible progress we've made together. My diverse background as a teacher, counselor, and administrator has given me unique insights into the educational journey, and I'm committed to ensuring every student's academic, social, and emotional needs are met.
At Sheehy Elementary, our motto — ROAR: Respect, Ownership, Achievement, Rise — continues to be the heartbeat of everything we do. These aren't just words; they're the guiding principles we strive to instill in our students every single day, fostering a community where everyone can thrive.
Our dedicated faculty and staff are ready to provide a supportive and nurturing learning environment where all students can reach their full potential. We're committed to strengthening the vital partnerships between our school, parents, students, staff, and community. Our main goals remain clear: maximizing student achievement and providing a safe, positive learning environment. We'll continue to prioritize equipping our students to communicate effectively, think critically, and collaborate successfully.
You'll notice some exciting improvements around campus! In addition to our brand-new main office and kindergarten playground from last year, our student restrooms have been completely remodeled! We're confident these updated facilities will provide a much more comfortable and positive experience for our students.
As you step back into our hallways, you'll rediscover a vibrant community diverse in backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. We encourage every student to embrace this diversity, learn from one another, celebrate our differences, and foster an environment of respect, understanding, and inclusion.
We've also been busy planning a lot of fun things for you all throughout the year! Get ready for engaging activities, exciting events, and new opportunities for learning and growth that we can't wait to share with you.
Education is a powerful partnership, and your involvement is crucial. We value open communication and collaboration. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me, our teachers, counselors, or any staff member if you have questions, concerns, or ideas.
For any questions, feel free to call the main office at 209-385-6676. Our staff is here to assist you in any way possible.
Once again, welcome back to Sheehy Elementary School! We're thrilled to have you as part of our school community, and we anticipate an incredible year filled with learning, growth, and success.
Sincerely,
Daniel Perez
